As the evening sun sets in the east
people rise from their beds with a yawn.
Realizing too late their mistake,
if it's evening what happened to dawn?

Like, the sun should be way over there,
for the evening sun sets in the west,
or, at least that is what we've been taught
one can only surmise it's a test.

Like the ones we took "back in the day"
studied hard to get everthing right
'spose things haven't changed much after all
don't know difference 'tween morning and night

As back then when one's sleeping through school
Yesterday we'd have not been such fools.

aha, and what happens 'tween dawn and dusk
scents a life in lavender and musk

Perfect for April 1!

Whenever we can get a break from routine, it does us good!

Love,
