      Coming ‘Home’

When night falls gently,
and mind-spiders weave
shadow-webs on looms
in long-lost dreams
of soft, soft meadows,
where a weary heart
    might rest
in sweet surrender
to solitude’s serenades,
or of silent sanctuaries
where a tired soul
    might sleep
in the arms of love’s
    calm comfort,
beyond all tarnished seasons
of life’s regrets,
I shall at last...find ‘home’!

The home lamented here, is indeed embracing, though near or far, the warmth of the welcome rejuvinates in it's echo.
