Hibernation I am a shadow under violent skies Dancing under illusions of self-love As my statue remembers the day before When reality passed by with laughter And humility simply reasoned in silence… But contrary to present thoughts I am growing into substance….into life Becoming much more than ideas or personifications, Slowly realizing the power I truly wield, Able to become minute and simple minded To earn trust and fit in with the rest, Snuggled into the palm of a hand to be thrown Until infinity defines the limits of happiness… Only then will I awake from this dream’s dream To become the man, God says I should be.
