My Agony

Passions fires rage within my soul,
A burning tide that threatens to swallow me whole;
Flames that blaze so truly pure,
That I in my loneliness cannot endure.

Your absence makes my heart cry out,
The pain, the emptiness into which I shout,
Can be filled with no other but the one I crave,
Please save me from this madness within which I rave.

Please satisfy this hunger growing deep within,
Grant your cool, loving caress to my feverish skin;
You were, you are, you always will be,
My Agony … and My Ecstacy.

~you reached inside, you touched my heart,
and I am all the better for it~

My word, girl! You wrote so vividly and with so much passion and emotion, that I can almost feel your agony!

May your life be one of ecstasy and not agony!

Terry this is intense and vivid! With the emotional style you have, I am hoping you also do free verse - will be looking for your poetry here.  I know of what you write -oh boy... do I LOL

Hope that you are rid of the agony soon - the ecstasy feeling sure is a lot more fun lol

Ooops-a-daisy! As I see in your new photo, you are most definitely a male! Please disregard the comment in my reply, "My word, girl!"

Sorry 'bout that!

"You were, you are, you always will be,

Some say this is love!

Certainly a passionate write and writing needs passion.
