The time between heartbeats

I wanted to go on a journey of some kind
So I went to the lost property office
Because I thought I’d lost my mind.

I asked if they had brains going spare
But they just shook their heads
And gave a vacant stare.

I asked about buying intelligence on the cheap
And they said try currys
Where people are easily lead, like sheep.

So I get to currys, but they are out of stock
So I ask where I can get perception
They tell me of a café called the hard rock.

The hard rock café is 12000 miles away
If I walked on water
I could get there in 2 weeks and a day.

At the hard rock, people are paying for seats
Pretending to be fashionable
And living in the time between heartbeats.

We search and search don't we??? You really think we can find what we're searching for at the Hard Rock Cafe?? I bet they are fresh out as well!!! Safe searching to you...and welcome to passions!!!! I really like this though and I never thought of going to lost property office but I will check there next time I feel this way!!!
