Thanks to all who reply to my poems so warmly.

Here we go,

Trying to tell you the Truth

Maybe i don't know how to say this
a shame it's too hard
i've tried many days
but silence is in our way

'cause you don't know how i fee
you don't know what happens
in my heart
i'm trying to talk to you
but words won't come out

i know we've been distanced
but the truth is
i want to be closer to you
closer to your heart
next to your kisses
and by your side

maybe this is too hard
maybe i did misunderstand
but the truth is
that there's something
something that will take
your anger away

maybe it's useless
to fix this now
maybe i'm hopeless
maybe i don't have a chance
but i don't want to lose you

so come and hear me
trying to tell you the truth

I can definitely relate to this. Nicely written, very descriptive

Obviously a 'heartfelt' and powerful 'write'!....

Much 'everyperson' meaning...
(soul-scarring
relationship dejavu)....herein
  [that which many (most?!) of
   us have all-too-often
   felt/experienced; etc.]
