Twilight Emissary
Painted on my fingertips, the moonlight
Invitation to the milky touch of lingering hush
Playing in the pools of gold, where night wept
Happy tears, gown all spirits knelt in restoration

Puddles of joy move in circular thoughts
Inspired by the feelings clinging on tapered hope
Where dawn once stood, bent into a smile still warm
Now beckons the cooling breath of silkscreen blue

The covenant seeming lay in the palm of my hand
Here, where two hearts, as ours, are rendered speechless
Found, in concentric questioning eyes that ache undisturbed
Drinking light into castanet ardor, the quiet comes

Safe within myself, the place card stirs caress
Far simple for the nights compress, touched softly
Come then, this unveiling blessed by time
Seduction calls in deeper voice of twilight rhyme

Grand ‘free associational’ (Romantic) imaging....such as:

Twilight Emissaries;

moonlight....painted on....fingertips;

“...concentric questioning eyes that ache undisturbed”

“...this unveiling blessed by time
Seduction calls in deeper voice of twilight rhyme”

ALWAYS a pleasure to read!

"Drinking light into castanet ardor, the quiet comes"

It is fascinating lines like this one that make it easy to be a fan of your writing.  Well done...
