Give me that sunshine,
fake or in real.
Spring comes tomorrow
but it's Winter I feel.

I'm pale, although olive
complected you see.
And this time of year
drags the drag out of me.

I'd take it machine-like,
I'd pretend I'm on sand.
A minute or two
is all that is planned.

Because I am missing
that something of D.
That vitamin produced by the rays
at the sea.

Since I can't reach the ocean
and the warmth is not here,
I will wait for that sunshine
soon to appear...

All the guidelines have changed,
like my tan lines in fade.
The sun is now healthier
so "they" say, as it's played

In the media for now.
You need sunshine today
to be healthy, and efficient.
Vitamin D leads the way.

M

We do need the sun Maureen.
It is so missed in the long winter months!
Can't wait for a walk in the spring sunshine.

The sun is now shining
the winter has gone
The vitamin D's days
now seem a bygone.

Though if truth were to out now
I know that you'd see
The problem some carry
is not A B or C.

For even the D
that's persintantly took,
cannot change the weather
or even your luck.

And tan from a bottle
is no substitute,
for the feeling of sunshine
when rain clouds all scoot.

The winter's a misery
for sun loving girls
No flesh to attract with
or hair's golden curls

But in summer you see all
in true female styles
Bouncing and happy
with big sunshine smiles

So always chase sunshine
it's worth all the miles
Don't stay in the winter
and suffer it's trials!
