He sits and listens
to the symphony of birds
Out somewhere on Melody Lane

He watches out his window
as the rain falls
And wonders again
How real love must feel

She stares in silence
Hearing nothing at all
Except the noise from
The other side of the wall

And I…never thought …
I would feel this way
As I sit and reminisce
About what I never had….

How Sad……

It is so sad when a "wall" separates two who should be of one heart.  You have reflected this fact well here.

Enjoyed.

always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same
