I hate shopping, all that walking
too hard on these big old dogs
flat with no arches and crooked
like they got rabies in November
It pains them then works its way
up to my head which starts asking
“Can we please go home now??”
like a little kid not getting candy

After eleven hours spent online
looking for dog-treats
to pamper my feets
I decided Dogs named Rocket
must be small breeds
no clodhoppers for Bigfoot
unless they were ugly

But wait ---- a plan!
do I dare even try it
so I ask the red painted toes
they say why not? Go!
And the dog tails well they
all start waggin’ like
puppies at supper time

There -- They -- Were

like a dug up bone of gold
Blue plaid and camouflage
{honors for the hunter hubby}
coming home to mama
in just a few days
via Ebay and those gorgeous legs
on that hot young guy
in the brown uniform
an eye-candy bonus to go
with that fifty percent off retail
and suddenly I love shopping……….

blue plaid and camouflage?

laughing and shaking my head

I would REALLY like a picture of that Ms. Caroline!

It's not quite meshing in m'head...

*laughing*

I kinda feel sorry for the guys--wimmen can talk about shoes all day--even if they're combat boots. (I actually managed to wear a pair of those out! ) But then again, that might not be surprising.

Hugs you.

LOL ~~~ okay let me clarify *laffin here*

I DID buy the shoes! Two pair - one pair is blue plaid, the other pair is camo - and got each pair half price {I have a strict rule to never pay full price for anything - I see clearance signs and hyperventilate LOL} I'd put a pic of them up but don't know how!

I call my feet dogs & my toes puppies - they twitch a lot, due to the disease affecting my muscles - so when they start up twitching, I say oh geez - the dogs' tails are waggin' again...

You'd never know I'm a dog person would ya? hehehe - so just the name Rocket Dog for shoes - I'm loving it!

And Ser~~~ I've got TWO pairs of combat boots (well - work boots)  I got 'em after those two hurricanes came through here and tore up the road so badly we had to hike outta there through 5 ft deep holes. I still wear them in the winter cause they're warm & comfy!

Thanks, girls for all the fun with this shoe challenge/shopping/buying --- I'm loving it all!
