.

In some front unnatural line
The trees along the road
Stand against the fog

So it is then the sun
They are waiting for
Their limbs
Silently reaching
Toward the sky

Much the way
Despite the years
That know better
Than to try

The eyes will seek
What and who is not
Though even now
The wary heart
Can not imagine why

You see things that many of us do not... and remind me to slow down and seek more.
I rarely know what to say when responding to your poetry, as it is always wonderful. Yes, I'm a fan!

Wonderful images in the beginning, and then the final stanza brings in a certain ambiguity about what the topic really is...

I read it a few times over, and the more I read, the more I seem to see.  Nicely done.

you know I'm a fan too
