unifying element
underscoring mystery
soft
acute
fingers
linking silent love
some
distored recollections
I'll admit
but those utter
corridors of time
signifies
suffering
pain
and dispair

picturesque
was the
dangerous
land of you body

what an addiction
easy interaction
oh
this poor disease-ridden mind

worldliness
has taken us far
into
haunting positive answers
facing the unknown
striking
flirtatious affairs
smiles...connections
deeply into
cold blue silence
that could never say no

precise mindlessness in
our suburban playground
unfolding wisdoms
surpassing skills
attractive characters

we were

             we were

changing objectives
making mystical
sensations
plunging me
into that
contemplative
solitary state
that
the all of life enjoyes...
a core meaning
receives or
earns
beginnings to
essential qualities

(oh forgive me)
I'm soooo
jumping
back and forth
you see, they come & go
skipping ore the mind
like little sprites
all colors shapes and sizes

sitting on the
edge of my bed
all rumpled
& broken
sentimental pleasures
longed for their own

beyond the withstands

yet a fragile peace
way past cosmic shangralas
lifting us
to the rafters
precarious
but full of doubt

its what keeps one alive
changing objectives
throughout

long close ups
of face
mundane austerity
stood out
all the more

great clarity
of atmospheric
meditation
probed the meaning
of humanity's groans

which sedates
and seduces

oh life, how
complex and
utterly miraculous
ultimately heartbreaking
yet the fasinating charm of
inventing ourselves
nurtures transformation
pausing
for a good long closeup

ache & sorrow
in a world very large
sometimes souless
genuine poignancy

you were like
the voice
of flamenco singers
quaking
mouth to mouth
songs
you were life,
love,
friendship connections
ephemeral
from heaven itself

and now…
I sweep
the grave
of our love
with unemployed
intimate advance

skiping
along (sigh)

still
       skiping
                along

ghost plesures
have always
run much deeper

how does one explain
that energetic magic
it's
supernatural whimsy
quaking
with
every
second
with every
beat of the heart
like some wrath
of not gaining
what you want

sometimes it is better
than
getting what you want

outsized
by destiny
surpassing skill
perhaps
exactly
as
   it
started...

            perhaps

presisely

           defined

and
          expressed

by sheer will

"Sheer will."
Sometimes it is as simple as that.
Love your expressive writing Lee J.

And there are some days when I can't wait to turn the page, and other days I just want to put the bookmark in and make the story stop there.

An interesting and introspective look at the poignancy of "ordinary".

Superb, Lee.

Yes it is exactly like that, isn't it? Your writing is always so interesting, I get mesmerised stanza by stanza.

Y E S !!  Wow, Lee, you've accomplished something here that's not very easy to do -- put something into words, I could only dream of doing.   ....jo

~ Lovely Lee, sounds like he would be a difficult love to forget!

Very stirring ~ and electrifying! The page comes alive when you put your words on it!
