I saw some boots in a magazine the other day They were red with flowers in thread up the side These, I said, are boots that were made for me My need for them was thoroughly and quickly justified These are the boots that would make my winter warm Flowers in January are usually any woman’s dream I carefully noted the website to order a pair As I repeated the these boots were made for me Feet are not a part of a body that I normally love But I tell mine that I love them every day For without my feet I’d be shorter than I am I cherish each little inch of my height most tenderly So I love my feet and am not above telling them so They don’t know that it’s a hard thing for me to say But we are in agreement that we must work together As we hit the floor to greet each wonderful day So, back to those boots that I so longed to own I brandished my credit card and was all set to buy I went to the web site and no boots did I see No red boots with flowers heading towards the thigh I felt my face fall as my feet drooped with despair They angrily accused me of telling them a lie Then they kicked and yelled that they wanted boots of red While I tried to explain that the magazine was from 2005 I learned not to shop from magazines at the doctor’s As my feet are in a sulk and don’t want to go to work today I kick them and tell them to get a move on And if they don’t want to play nice – we simply won’t play Feet are not a part of a body that I normally love But I tell mine that I love them and I guess that I probably do Please don’t tell them about the boots Enchantress modeled I can not deal with their jealous envy for another foots shoes! aziza |

Awesome poem. It's really cool. I like how you described your feet as if they were someone or something else while still attached to your body. Did you know that the spit shine technique of shoe polishing was discovered accidentally when drool fell upon such a boot? (Don't ask for details--I'll have to dive into another forum!) *laughing* sounds cute tho, and man, RED boots. I had a pair of periwinkle latex ones once. But I blame that on disco. (Or David Bowie) But I am telling my age. Lovin' the shoe stories! If we keep this up we are going to be marked as a fetish site!   |
