.

Imagine
What it might be like
Millenniums from now

With we
And everyone else
Too far gone
To argue
It wasn’t so

How good
It must have been
How lucky they were

If all
That’s left
By which to imagine us

Are the poems
I wrote to you

I've often wondered the same things... and, alas, there are poems I wished I'd never posted (not here)... nice thoughts shared here... hopefully, our poems, these snapshots of our time, will reveal how life was for us, so they can learn about their ancestors...
