Without Fail

Seems like yesterday
(though its been really years)
swimming in limbo-like
raining of tears.

Longer to realize
that always will be
untitled this life
that has succumbed to me.

Nothing's the same,
even the mirrored of eyes,
where the lines have been earned
when each day sees its rise.

Going on in this silence
to get ahead without fail
seems like yesterday again,
though I touch now in braille.

For life is more sensitive,
takes more thought than before,
as I move through the silence
to feel today more.

it's a good thing to feel today

no sense living in the past or looking too much ahead to the future

I have figured out that things are best done on a day-to-day basis anyway

Yes, that seems to happen as one gets older but they say the trick is to feel everything but not get attached to it. A bit hard sometimes.
