She's Mona Lisa in the window

sun shines through her

while a small breeze floats by

stealing a mischevious wink

wrapping it in a laugh

and sending it into the gulf

It arrives with a tiny rose

sitting atop a cushion of hope

I open it up and smile

amazed at finding inside

a pink feather boa

wrapped around a

mason jar of fireflies

that light up my darkness

like the first night of

Mardi Gras...

K... for all the smiles and laughter you give me, I am so grateful.

Oh my goodness, did you ever capture the very essence of Serenity with this darling tribute to her. Well done! A pink feather boa would be exactly right.

Glad I checked in before turning this box off, or I might have missed this.
