The Feelings

I've known the feelings of
being out there on my own,
losing my family and feeling alone,
after being driven from my home.

I've known the feelings of rejection,
the depths of desperation, while
walking a long and winding road,
as the pain of a divorce unfolds.

I've know the feelings
of the sad and lonely paths
that I did take, to live through
a heartbreak, and the feelings
of Gods love and grace.
I've known the feelings.
