Note:

Commencing this year, the Presidential $1 Coin Program will honor four Presidents a year.   On the front, it states the term in office and indicates the order in which that President served.   The new coins feature “edge-incused” inscriptions:  “E Pluribus Unum”,  “In God We Trust”, and the mint marks.   With my aging eyes, I believe it will be a little tricky to decode the words.   The following website has a lot of information about our Presidents and our new gold coins.
http://www.usmintgov/mint_programs/$1coin/index.cfm

                                  ~~~~~~~~~~
               “A Dollar, New and Gold,”  or  “G.B.A. “
They will roll off the tongue as moistened stamps
   when Tuesday’s wash is on the line;
Uniquely placed are those founding words:
the Four, incused on coin’s side.
Fine words, very fine print; has vision almost died?
Stamps insure travel, messages to send
Life about the family, life about intent;
Values upon currency
Efforts well spent?
Decrease the font, my eyes are blind
Place the writing as food for find
Hidin’ on a dollar’s side; a dilly
A dollar, a four o’clock scholar,
Where has my money gone?
          ~
“God Bless America”
Almost dried, close on line,
Barely damp;
linen on Tuesday’s line.
It will be interesting to see how many people notice that In God We Trust is not so easily seen on these new coins.  Good historic write.  *hugs*....jo
Just a few days ago another PiP member cited this as "excluding" some very particular and wonderful words.  While another member showed her that "no, not quite so", still and all?  The harder they make particular words to see, the easier they will be to forget.
Solution?
Don't accept them.
Don't buy them.
Don't use them.
But I doubt it could be that easy to get the point across.
In God We Trust.
Blazon it, or Lose it.
iliana,
  Yes, I think it will be an interesting change.  The portraits on coins appear to be beautiful on the website.  I just hate to see In God We Trust taken off the front, however, I do understand if they need the space for the portrait.  I would prefer that they leave In God We Trust on the top and place the data about the Presidents on the side, but of course, I am not the designer!
Sunshine,
   Good comments.   I have been on line very, very little and was unaware that others had written about this.  I'd love to read their posts.
   Have a super week, and a soon-to-be, terrific weekend!
Sadie
Hidin’ on a dollar’s side;
As if someone's ashamed of the sentiment... and that's the real shame.
Excellent write, my friend!
