congregation of arboretum sleeves
in cathedrals soaring, oak trees
monoliths of nature’s glory

barren by season’s calling
shuffled from sky to earth
by winter’s chilling breeze

blown by gusts of north-air
diffusing the light, gently falling
like petals to the ground

crushed beneath soft steps
refreshing the soil for
spring’s morning glories

death springing life like phoenix rising
ushering hope on easter lilies
resurrecting faith, living anew

Yes, I understood this, as I understand the pact with the pines, and the places where God's ear seems tipped closer to listen.

Comforting write.
