Reasons To Write

Removing barriers
Emotions need to flow
I must think positive
From days feeling low

I began once again
After a few pages torn
Heard birds singing
This warm sunny morn

The need to ascend
As negatives disperse
Upon the bright side
I urged myself to verse

Having to start over
With heart taking flight
Remembering why
Gave reasons to write

sometimes it seems like there are no reasons anymore...life just gets in the way

those barriers are tall and thick at times

Thanks dixie , yes it gets difficult at times to be positive , but I am often reminded of that song "Always look on the bright side "

yanno we are how we believe ourselves to be...it is so true Hope...don't let your mind think bad things to put yourself down or sell yourself short...wallow in the glorious person you are...the marvelous talented poet...who is a word weaver magician...magical and able to accomplish anything she puts her mind to.
