Where The Wind Took Me

A trench coat concession set a fire in my eyes
In the wind where once parted, there slipped surprise
To my curious lips, mouthed in exhaled verbs
Concordat swept neckline that such breeze disturbs

Philanthropic intentions by a lash, ruffled fly
On the verge of enigma rustled paradox dry
Toggle opened in falling regalia par none
Blown me over, exploring the paths left undone

The discovery within me raised up heights unmatched
Every nook unmistaken, every cupboard unlatched
In the spy of a smile, though a windy traverse
Every aspect of gale force swept in life’s verse

The crescendo built slowly on a steady uphill
Taking in every moment, full capacity fill
Once the climax subsided, such delight to be found
With just one chance to journey, so my song will resound

Hummmmm…

I might be reading too much into this but my first inclination was to reply with “Wwhoooo-whoooo, or a whistle.

Enjoyed the view??

I know I read this the other day, because
I looked up a specific word.  I'm glad it
came back up so I could say "thank you"
as I failed to respond after the first
reading.

Be well, write more.
