Florida Postcard
~*Grandma Poet*~

Come on down … the weather’s all aglow
with oodles of sunshine, and no darned snow
Leave your warm woolies behind you now
you’ll need sunscreen … not a snowplow
Landry and Delaney are sending
warm Florida wishes your way
Come on down so we all can play~

OH I WISH I COULD!!!
I looked at their swimsuits and got chills!
With snow on the ground and more on the way..
it's so hard to imagine swimming....outside!
But, they are so adorable and do make a great postcard.
Sending three big hugs your way.

~ Time has cast a spell on you,
So you won't ever forget me. ~

Yesterday we had 45 MPH winds, causing white outs on the roadways and considerable drifting, but I'd miss snow's beauty, too, if I lived in the sunny south.  It's nice to see pictures of swim suits and beaches at this time of year when we're getting tired of cold and snow.

Careful Marge - you might have all the pipsters landing on your doorstep.  My son was there last week from Seattle and I can't wait to see the pictures.  The heatwave we are suffering from in South Africa has gone on too long for comfort.
Lovely pic and great ad for Florida!

Florida girls are sure cuties, aren't they?

This is so sweet Marge. Makes me long for Florida, now, but not in the summer.

I would dearly love to accept this invitation if I only could.  However I will be leaving for sunny California for a few days on March 14.  I'm looking forward to that.  Hope their weather is on its good behavior.  Love, Joyce

Thanks everyone~

The grandie girlies tans are au la natural~

They give us so much delight in sharing the joy of each moment in smiles~

Growing just much too fast to suit their ~Poet~ ... but, such is life~

Nothing would please them any more than to have some of you get yourselves down here to join in the swim~
They are most gracious little Southern hostesses~

Come on down !!!

What beauties they are, and how quickly they've grown!

And yes - the weather here in Florida is fantastic right now! Yesterday I sat in a deer stand near the top of a very tall tree,(yes I actually did it! LOL) looking at birds through binoculars. Gorgeous out there, it was. It was a little chilly up my way for swimming, but next week I'll be on that river with my fishing pole in hand!

Your grand-darlings are precious!
