Outdated rock and roll and crass infidelity

passes for wit and charm and levity

Where ambitions crest is a double wide

behind whose curtains relatives hide

Lips soft kisses while eyes open wander

next on the list whose torn and plundered

dancing fast to one and the other

laughing askance at both man and brother

A short lived release in lusts satisfaction

cannot bear a moments reflection

The dance continues and partners change

relatives lost and rearranged

In this scene there is no winner

loves deserted the heart of the sinner

Replaced by chemical recreation

held together by fragmentation

You set the scene for the action well, I could clearly see it all transpire in my mind. And your caveat ... "((Lyrics to a song unsung))" ... made me smile.
