I walk upon the Yellow Brick Road
With joy and fantasy
In company of better times
For you as well as me

I’m smiling with a lot to say
And time to do as please
With not a care or memory thought
Fulfillment on the breeze

On the road I’ve lots of friends
That keep me company
And on together we all walk
Toward our destiny

This made me want to put on some ruby slippers and seek out some "joy and fantasy," and take Toto along, too.  *wink wink*

Enjoyed.

always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same

Hi Lee, nice to see you here again, thank you for your lovely reply and visit.

Dear Dixie, it is lovely to be here and have all my friends around, this poem was somewhat dedicated to you my friend as by your saying, on the yellow brick road.  Thank you for the inspiration, have a wonderful day.

Janette, we all need such a road to walk on during our days, glad you could join us all, it will be a lot of fun.

To you all my friends, have a great day and enjoy every part of it, life is for sharing, friends are for caring.

aw...thank you Rick

yes, when I took the leap and moved to Kansas and realized it wasn't for me, I jumped right back on that yellow brick road back to where I came from.

Dear Dixie, isn't it great to at least have the road to get back onto and walk towards another dream, eventually we will find the path that we want to be on. Take care my friend, thanks for the visit and reply.

Dear Alison, I smile as well my dear, when my friends come calling, what else am I to do.

See you later girls, great catching up.
