Near golden sunsets

It's calculated,
this intrusion
behind my eyes.
I'm an unable
witness
to your pilfering
of thoughts
I'd thought
hidden.
And so I remain,
a dreamer of compromised
dreams,
futily buried in
blankets
while your prods
and pokes
laugh at my
inspired wanderings.

Have a little paranoia on me? (Oh c'mon, it can't be any less sanitary than your typical body shot.)

My god, I think I just channeled Dorothy Parker!

But that would make this, Freudoscience, now wouldn't it?

(see, I'm doing it again!)

egads man

I wish I could blame my response on bad acid.

OH.

I can.

(the beauty of flashbacks!   )

Ain't nobody laughing at you darlin'.

I'm just glad to see you. Thought I was haunting myself for a while.
