Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

Blue sky nights - the sun beams shine yellow bright
Chokecherry flower breezes sweetens my nights
And midnight sunshine bends to brush at my face
The chickadee’s song serves to offer loving embrace

The lick the sun rays warms the end of my nose

Blue sky nights - the sun beckons me to frolic and play
Night wanes to morning with no end mark of day
The boat gently dances as the river laughs and swims by
While sunset marries sunrise with barely a sigh

The perfume of the night is the scent of the rose

Blue sky nights - the sun flirts with dusky dawn clouds
The world wrapped in quiet, no noise-makers allowed
Flowers litter the river banks in clusters of colorful hues
It is the magic of summer and of nights painted in blue

The night lit with sunshine brings the day to a close

Thank you - I have been trying to play with styles of writing and I have always loved to play with words.  I do appreciate you taking a second to read and respond.  It means a lot to me.
