Like the tumbleweed,   time has wandered, bounced,  scurried
Into the dust.    Taking no quarter,  leaving only minute tracks
Of passage....Leaving only a heart...in search of a moment that
Brings to bear the grape from a laden vine....that brings to
The ear a whispering,   to the hand a soft trace..to the eyes....
The beauty of that which has been given,  unashamedly,  with
Only one wish....the wish of one’s soul into another’s hand....

And so it has been....for the years have passed,  sometimes
Most quickly....never too slowly....always.....ever always
Flowing an endless river as silent oars swirl the waters
And two hearts remember a time when.....when a day
Was one and a year became five....as it is,  as it ever shall
Be....

What a beautiful feeling to be given such as precious time.  Curtain call, my friend.
Loved this.

Magnus~
Gawd, how I love reading you~

Your words roll on ... just like that tumbling weed ... gathering strength from your poetic, soft-life thoughts~

I adore this !

Beautiful Barry...welcome home.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.
