It is a private     something
that comes to visit me
on those special occasions
in the quiet of night
when mere thought
produces smiles

             shimmers through moonlight

memories slip slide
beyond the stillness     where dark
covers me

blanketed

in magical weave
of dreams
remaining unseen

yet   felt.

             Heartbeats escape to heavenly skies

angels hear them drifting by

sigh songs gather
in mournings dew,

Lovely
   is this      ache...

          this agony;

             my       demon

                 my mercy,

                          you.

I wonder if you’ve ever realized
how much it is that you give…

Exquisite writing Donna!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

   Donna, I do love your Gentle Spirit.

               Lovely
        is this      ache...

             this agony;

   Such a fine line that sometimes separates the aches of agony and ecstasy.

        Write on, Gentle Spirit, Write on.

Oh, Ms. Seamstress Poet you have "weaved" a fabulously elaborate zig zag course combining many of my favorite elements.

Mercy!
