He opens up his home and his life
He tries to let me in.
Barred behind the blood of being
Just underneath his skin
Pulling toward the pulp of praxis
In which we manifest
Surrounded by the woes of wisdom
Said like they know what's best
Oppression beats the heart of this life
Once all is said and done
But he can rise above us all
To rest right under the sun
How I wish his confidence
Was contagious through his kiss
For everytime he fires entire
Praise by me, I do exist.

"Pulling toward the pulp of praxis
In which we manifest"

This made me think about how "confidence" takes practice, and at times it is not easy to convey.

Great word usage here, espcially ... "praxis" ... very cool word.
