To know a distant heart beats as your own,
A certain rhythm shared through the unknown;
‘Tis fond regard indeed, that we are blessed
With friends in whom we bring our words to rest.

There is no ocean wide enough, or deep
Nor vast expanse of sky that ‘ere shall keep
Such feelings as two kindred spirits share
As one, each holds the other in its care.
(This is my last post for a week or so.
I'm getting married on Saturday and then off up to the beautiful Bay of Islands in the north of New Zealand for a holiday. So I'll look forward to seeing you all again in early March. But I'll have a peek at new postings tomorrow before I leave!)

The greatest thing you can do for another is not just to share your own riches...but to reveal to him his own.
