It is cold. My eyes are heavy and stale.
Their bold blue, pale and motionless.
I stir these thoughts and images with my fragile mind.

I pave my heart over.
I've turned my sweetness into stone,
for now I have no love to give.

These cold glances that I glare at you,
as I say I love you.
Don't believe them unless you dare.

For my heart is paved in cement,
impossible to break,
impossible to love.

a heart "paved in cement" . . . sad and powerful.  I can feel the emotion.
