Illusions

I am all you see me to be.
Expect anymore,
And you'll be disappointed in me.

So many write of their feelings,
But mine cannot be put to paper.
And if once I try,
My passion dies,
Subsides.
It turns to lonliness,
And it makes me just like another,
Writing for a lover,
For whom I feel nothing.

Let me go,
You're living in an illusion all my own,
Living a life,
Half dillusion.
I forgive no one their state of intrusion.

Illusions are my understanding,
The only one I have.
Twisted and warped threads,
These are my thoughts.
Thoughts of death and depravity,
Corrupt my moving mind.

I am all you see me to be.
Expect anymore,
And you'll be disappointed in me.

Suddenly I see your smiling face,
And it's all I want to know.
Give it in me,
To touch your hand,
You're real.
Not one of my thousand dreams.
