Now and then
like the stirring of leaves come Autumn
A small smile tugs a memory upon me
and I fondly bid you a silent hello

Remembering
Kindness touching the edges of my heart
Laughter raining gently upon my sorrow
A mixture of precious moments
while I held up the sky

Never realizing until long after
You had taken it from me

cool write, the way it lilts and lifts, then twists into that heart-wrenching ending...excellent write...

A single raindrop of regret remains on the windowsill of happiness. Maybe it will never disappear completely.

I really like this. It touched me. Thank you.
