Home of Eternal Sun
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

Misty images from long ago
Flood my soul with indigo
Memories of a distant place
Visions of a Smiling Face
Skies of pink and violet hues
Vast and grand vista views
Homes in domes of crystals clear
A place of joy and not of fear
Colors vivid beyond compare
Glorious flowers everywhere
A vibrant world of sounds and sights
And radiant Beings of rainbow Lights
Learning, laughter, joyful fun
Fill the world of Eternal Sun
As one would wish, 'twould then be true
For what you seek is there for you
Life's a river, flowing slowly
Where all is pure and all is Holy
Grace and beauty, honor, love
Abound within this Home Above
I long to be among the stars
Back to the home that once was ours
Come hold my hand and dream as one
Of our birth Home of Eternal Sun

“We are borne of star dust,
and to the stars we shall one day return.”
~ Linda L. Dowd

"As one would wish, 'twould then be true
For what you seek is there for you"

Great poetry, with insight that needs to be read between the lines.

Why does this poem remind me that we reap what we sow, and truly what we really seek will be there for us....

Enjoyed as usual, Linda.  I'm sure that what we wish for will be waiting there for us so I guess we had been give careful consideration to what we wish for.

photo and verses work beautifully together.
I felt the photo's light and warmth.I had to blink a few times while looking at the photo. The verses continued to send the warmth. Loved it martyjo
