.

It’s bad out there
Over the years
I’ve developed an aversion
To snow

Winter grows colder
As I get older
There’s nothing
I haven’t known

Inside this bed
Though dark it’s warm
The sleep is filled
With pleasant dreams
Of other days

When I am young strong
And mean enough again
To handle anything
That comes my way

I'm still trying to get over the fact that as you grow older you dream of younger days...seems like my dreams are aging with me...but I digress...loved the write
