The Haiku Moon

The moon lights aglow
Silver strings the puppet show
Dancing leaves below

Worded moonlight twirls
Caught within your swirl of ink

Too much to bear, this
excruciating wonder;
suddenly -- haiku!

Cool white face of light peeks through

I watched a haloed moon over the mountains kissing the treetops...It must have been just so you would write this pretty haiku... and,boy, I've missed you!
