thy love ’tis tender true o love besought
as veils of virtue wrought, unfold desire
and sing in quiet choir tones unsought
of gentleness, as longing hearts aspire

to lean and learn in others arms sublime
to have and hold with special charms bereft
of platitudes and expectations—time,
it stands, it stills and surely all that’s left

of sep’rate souls when love’s encircling snare
ensnares the hearts of lovers’ quest divine
and molds personas several to share
the trail of life as one in one in kind

caressing moments shared as love is found
in hearts enshrined where hope doth yet abound

thank you Seymour...and I find myself in smiles over your comment...I am not a romantice writer, but alas it is February, and from time to time I need to write in measured form and rhyme so that I can feel confortable in my favorite, more 'undisciplined' styles
