More of a freestyle. I did no editing Just a 5 minute write that helped rid 10 months of bothering. Should have Wrote this sooner..I feel a lot better . . . This is a chapter about my life and the reason for my strife I have a daughter tis 10 months old most of my readers already know. It all started before she was born Her mother my heart she did tear She told me she no longer cares thus the reason my heart is torn. We dated for about seven months For love I no longer had to hunt during that time we had intercourse getting her pregnant had I no remorse. The day that she found out the news I was left months in dark without a clue she told me that I had ruined her life and I would never take her as wife. So months passed by, alone I did cry I found out she was with another guy It took 6 months to tell me childs sex waiting during that time left me vexed. The day my child was conceived No phone call I did not receive In another man was she held in arms Getting to recieve all her charms. She took one thing I did wish My babys birth did I miss and anguish in heart does reside pain never to go away until I die. I will look back with saddened heart For things done to tear me apart But to pain and anger I try to yield No longer wish I to walk in hates field. "Only" Because I have a new treasure "My Pearl" And What's That? Tis Daddy's Baby Girl. Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash. " Leon Cohen~ |
