when first I saw you
a light streak across endless
expanse
rowdy little soul snip you were
then,
pausing, bending, through timeless cycles
of always

     ~ michael

your soul snip
always ago
you knew me
but couldn’t catch me

I felt what waited in your heart
saw what could happen
if clouds opened
I was drawn up

kept my eyes on those clouds
ducked and flew
hid in lavender folds of time

yes
outmaneuvered you
but we both knew
it would happen
just not now

which of us was ready?

I didn’t have to pound nails into my feet
to discover pain hurts
just wait
for those clouds to open
you to spy me
a light streak

across endless expanse

caught

…done

Truly captivating writing!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

A piece of you is clear in this, how else could it cause the ache I feel.

I do believe
you caught this
flight of fanciful

directly from Pan, himself.

This...is marvelous!
