A Repost:

The Errant Knight

The armor that I wear has kinks
Except the part that’s linked with links
My battles show a heavy toll
And still I do not reach my goal

In heavens name how far the end
And how much can my armor bend
My sward is full of nicks and dull
My shield begins to show the hull

These windmills that I charge today
Are built anew a different way
And time weaves cobwebs on the deed
There’s just so much of blood to bleed

So I have taken plight in night
In magic and in dreamer’s slight
I walk within a garden green
And pluck the flowers of this scene

And God I’ve grown a temp of grace
That fills the echoes of my space

kinks, I'd say a petty cost
all the marks of battles fought
some were won, some were lost
but none of them were for naught

love your kinks dear Sy

And it's God's will you share with us
The  battle scars that you earned thus
So we may know that childish rage
May someday come a  wisdom's sage

read your comment above,   Don't think your kinky at all, but...you do have a marvelous smile in all your poetry...

Sorry to hear your not feeling well, if I may suggest an old fashioned remedy, Lots of vicks on the chest, with a hand towel pinned over top...do not go out with the vicks on, cuz people will want to get away from you.

Thank you for this lovely poem...

Happy Sunday

why of course you're not kinky
that would be Randy!

you Sir Sy
are a rock
carefully placed among the flowers
rough winds may shake the darling buds of May
but the rock
holds steady...

Listen, Don Quixote, the day you stop tilting at those windmills, is the day you die...so fight on for your Dulcinea...whoever she may be!

Good morning, Sir Knight!

I find the bold and errant knight aspect of you to be quite charming. However, I am most taken by the side that plucks the flowers while walking in a garden green.

I gift thee, Sir Knight, with a bouquet of forever-lasting lilacs.

Sy...

kinks are links
some of them stink,
but the dandy in Randy
gives flowers the power.
