Sidewalks

Broken sidewalks and empty dreams
My life ripped at the seams
No direction or signs to follow
I was alone and hollow

I didn't know where to start
When you walked into my heart

and offered a shoulder to spare

And fought my biggest fear

Something in your green eyes

Your gentle words mean so much

Mended sidewalks and vivid dreams
Growing stronger at the seams
Things I thought I'd never see

Welcome to passions...I really feel you here...I was there too soon ago. I like your referene to his green eyes....I too know someone with green eyes that needs sidewalks mended!!! Hope you enjoy the site I love it!!!!
