A young couple On a summer beach And very much in love One can see that By the way they lean their heads Their eyes How their fingers intertwine Holding hands Together They gaze at the artist Quietly composed In being whole Who want nothing more Of others Except to be allowed to live That’s all No more It is 1890 And this world is theirs . |
