maybe you do fly lighter than Peter Pan

what can i do to get you to see that i'm following a different plan

                if only i could help you understand

i only sigh with other boys because they don't seek to hold my hand

the way you try makes me think you want to build a mansion on my land

            although it hurts to deny you friendship

and i know you cry "what's wrong with kinship"

                   but looks can be deceiving

when you see me walking with other guys

i'm only receiving their friendly hi's
