The Other Side of Yesterday

On the other side of yesterday,
I received a single rose.
Its meaning grew more delicate
than the "fragrant-wrapped" in bows.

That time of year upon us now,
my thoughts to superimpose.
Tattooed in hearts and petals of
those feelings words expose.

Just yesterday, the last of fell,
dried in keep, to dream.
Holding onto tomorrow-thoughts
in the "arms of waiting" theme.

Supposing, ifs and maybes play
their tune upon this mind.
On the other side of yesterday.
a rose awoke love's find.

I do love roses....my roommate is thinking of planting them all around the yard and I can't wait!
