the wolf.

Of course, their only viciousness
is in protecting itself, and its
family.

I wish for wolf, sometimes....I truly do. My brother on that side is more pedestrian, but somehow he is there and he fits me in ways beyond expressing.....patiently, more patiently than wolf, as his kind tends to be....and I need that.

Dixie.  I heard about this early this week -- makes me sick.  It seems like there could be a different way, somehow.

On a lighter note, we have an Alaskan Malamute -- a domesticated dog very much like a wolf, except no yellow eyes.  It has the spirit of the wolf about it....and I adore this creature.  He was born on the 4th of July....and truly is a free spirit.  It is our privilege he has befriended us.  He's only 6 months old, but already up to my thighs....going to be a monster!

I did join and I do donate when I can...and maybe I'll find a higher purpose beyond sending money and filling out petitions, who knows.

I feel strongly about all animals, but wolves are in the center of my heart.
