At the corner
Of a shallow bar
She sits there combing
Her yellow hair

In a dusk tint light
That is common here
It’s hard to tell
Where truth declines
And myth begins

To take control
Of how things are
Going to sail
Beneath a moon

Which in its time
Has seen more than one
None too thoughtful fisherman
Drowning in her beer

loved the lines

"It’s hard to tell
Where truth declines
And myth begins"

yet, is that not the birthplace of legend...well written...draws one in and keeps one there...

You are definitely one of my favorite poets! Your imagination and concepts and imagery and style - it all just blows me away! I could only dream of writing as you do. Lori Lee - with that title, you knew I had to look!

steavenr,

I think man needs myth
regardless of truth.
It gives him a why not to live
but not give up.

Thanks for reading .
