Moon Mother
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

I awoke in mid of a winter’s night,
When all was silent and still.
And sat upon my window bench,
Which lay beneath moonlit sill.

Shutters of cedar were opened wide,
Luna’s light came streaming thru’.
~ Bathing me in her radiance,
As I beheld the placid view.

Filigreed ice did shimmer in trees,
Deep snow was shrouding the ground.
The night was one of tranquility,
With nary a soul around.

As I opened myself to the Universe,
My spirit was singing in tune.
~ With God and all His Creations,
In the Light of our Mother, the Moon.

“We are borne of star dust,
and to the stars we shall one day return.”

I could not say it better than our dear Sy!
So very beautiful dear Linda.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

Linda,

Firstly, this poetry was a thing of immense beauty, it's style, ease of flow, choice of words were a tapestry of moonlight in a twinkling night sky.

....................................
As I opened myself to the Universe,
My spirit was singing in tune.
~ With God and all His Creations,
In the Light of our Mother, the Moon.
....................................

But this Linda, is where your spirituality bleeds from your pen....

If it's the snow, the sun or the moon your poetry can make the reader wish they where there in the moment

this was like a brothel with nature, dynamic insights and linkages to a marvelous vision of the world and nature...and knowing you as I do, I would say, this harmonic epicenter is whimsically knocking at your door every day...
I envy your adventures, and respect your substance...

Good morning, Mr. T.!

Dems sweet werds, T-Man! ~ literally and figuratively!

Would you believe that I am nibbling on a piece of chocolate! Yeppers! I saw a program on benefits of the almighty cocoa bean so I bought a chocolate bar! Mind you, it's not the creamy milk chocolate that is so deliciously decadent. This one is made of dark chocolate (lots of antioxidants) and without sugar. ~ But it's good for me!

Giving you a chocolate kiss to start your day! X

Hi, Sharon! I would give credit to the artist, but there wasn't a name to go with it! Mind you, I have cropped away most of the graphic and edited out the racoon under her chin.

Thank you for the enthusiastic response!

Seize the day!
