I remain unwritten
days go by so fast
I know the words are there somewhere
scrambled in the past.

The 9 to 5 is painful
and always leaves something lacking
and memories through glass bottles
don't seem to be worth tracking.

So I live in blank pages
while the stars shine bright
and it takes all I have
to pull this out tonight.

Oh my, this is exactly my situation, writing is stuck in there somewhere. but it sure looks like you pulled it out somehow, anyway. This is beautiful.

Dixie friend I often gaze at the moon and starlight when I feel the need to write , you filled in the blank page perfectly

You have now written "the unwritten".

No one can keep a good poet down! The words eventually come spilling out again! ~ and you have done so, very well!

Here latley I have found myself struggling for words, and i can forsee myself posting here less and less. I truly applaud your poem, and i know that you have written boocoos of poems. This poem does shines bright light on the talents you have when you steer from free verse..you got the talent in both worlds

Ms. Dixie I came looking for more of your work and picked this, lo and behold, to find that you have penned my thoughts. I've had mind-block for so long that I struggle to get one piece a year written now... but how lucky I am to get to read your work, and have you speak my thoughts from your pen!
