A song is singing deep inside telling me about the tides,Water is a Sacred thing a place where prayers are always clean,here my heart understands the ancients words,their thoughts, their dreams. I feel drawn to the waves be it ocean,river,lake,the finned ones seem to know my name,I am called here by the grandmothers to hear the whispered stories and prayers. From a time of long ago the island home where my blood began,taught to me in a song the way our Peoples lives began,only memories remain but the stones help us to remember. East,West,North and South,each have a color each hold a power,the rising sun once showed her face from the West and set in the East,so much knowledge is forgotten it is time to remember. Father Sky above,Mother Earth below,Creator surrounds us with pure love,Ceremonies hold the secrets no need for worries the Spirits lead us to the answers. Healer,teacher,Elder,and leaders do you know the true purpose of the Warrior,so much is lost of understanding,so much buried,hidden,scattered,far too much kept quiet. Magic is called forbidden knowledge,death awaited those who used it,so the power is waiting for a time of acceptance,it has nothing to do with evil in this those others are mistaken. Great Mystery shared many gifts,medicine,magic,and renewal, only fear keeps you from it,those who preach say no such thing,and those who claim it are crazy. In this life are many things that can never be explained,ghosts walk and this is truth,spirits speak and should be heard,white mans medicine has stolen this from you. Each of the four legs have a voice,each of the feathered know the truth,within the finned is ancient knowledge,within the stones lies sweet magic. Plant Nations hold the cure for every ill,this was a gift of Creator to Earths children,Four Colors is mankind,each have a duty to all life. Mother Earths Red children are the Wisdom Keepers for healing and cleansing,this path of truth we have forsaken,our lives are now filled with confusion. How many stories have you heard,and yet still today you do not believe,back to our own ways we must go,return to magic,medicine,and power of the Earth. Go to Water as you should,open your heart,spirit,and mind,hear the secrets whispered there,learn to believe what you hear,let go the ways of the strangers reclaim my People your rightful heritage! Grandmother was a water creature,one who knew a power magic pure and true,there is nothing of evil to it,this is a gift from our Creator! granny
