Where the sweet maiden of courting?
Where the wild firebird of youth?
Vanished and flown - as a wild dove.
Far gone, alas, and forsooth!

Where the great ache and the longing?
Fulfilled... but too swiftly forgot.
And now in its stead- the celibate's bed,
while the fever burns slowly... but hot.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist thinking how different this would be if the last two words were
         .....on pot!

Have Fun,

Ivor

The moment created this second, is a  moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.
